We ask you to share honestly. That means we owe you radical transparency about how we protect what you share.
1. Your data is never sold. Not to advertisers. Not to data brokers. Not to anyone. Ever.
2. Your reflections stay between you and GuidePath. Your journal entries, coach conversations, and Living Profile are not visible to other users. A small number of authorized team members may access data for quality assurance and safety purposes only.
3. You own your data. You can request a copy of everything we hold about you by contacting us at privacy@tryguidepath.com.
4. You can delete everything. Request full deletion through Settings and we remove your data from our active systems.
5. We tell you exactly what we collect and why. No surprises. No vague language. Read on for the full picture.

What we do NOT collect: Location data, contact lists, browsing history, health data from other apps, social media activity, or financial information.
Your data is encrypted using industry-standard protocols whenever it moves between your device and our servers, and while it's stored.
Your data is hosted on Google Cloud (Firebase), which provides enterprise-grade security, automated backups, and compliance with SOC 1, SOC 2, and ISO 27001 standards.
Your personal reflections and coach conversations are not shared with other users or used for marketing. Access within the GuidePath team is restricted to authorized personnel for quality assurance and safety purposes only.
We do not integrate any advertising SDKs. No ad networks have access to your data.
We use a small number of trusted partners to deliver the GuidePath experience.
Anthropic (Claude AI)
Powers the Coach and Insights features. Your coach conversations are processed through Anthropic's API to generate responses. Anthropic does not use API inputs or outputs to train their models. For full data retention details, see our Privacy Policy.
Firebase (Google Cloud)
Hosts your account data, reflections, and Living Profile. Provides authentication, database storage, and cloud functions. Google Cloud meets enterprise security and compliance standards.
Customer.io
Delivers push notifications and email communications. Receives your name, email, and engagement data. Does not receive your reflection content or coach conversations.
PostHog
Provides product analytics so we can understand how people use GuidePath. Tracks feature usage patterns and session data. Does not receive your personal reflections or coach conversations.
Every coaching conversation is generated by an AI model (Claude, by Anthropic). There is no human on the other end reading your messages.
Anthropic's API terms confirm that inputs and outputs are not used for model training. Your reflections are processed to generate a response, then they stay in your account.
When GuidePath surfaces patterns, it's analyzing your history. It's not comparing you to other users or drawing from a shared pool of personal data.
The Coach is not a therapist, counselor, or medical professional. It offers reflection and growth support, not clinical advice. If you're in crisis, we'll surface resources for professional help.
